Contraindications

A contraindication is a condition or factor that will prevent a certain treatment from going ahead due to the harm that it may cause. 

  • Under 18 years of age
  • Liver disease
  • Pregnancy/Breastfeeding
  • Compromised skin near brow area
  • Chemotherapy/Radiation
  • Roaccutane within the last 6 months
  • At risk or prone to Keloid Scarring

The following medical conditions require a note from your doctor giving consent prior to treatment.

  • Diabetes Type 1 and 2,
  • Epilepsy
  • High blood pressure
  • Auto-immune disease
  • Thyroid / Graves’ disease
  • Any other medical condition that causes slow healing or a high risk of infection.
