- Flaking, patchiness is normal. Colour will appear 40% darker straight away, it will get darker as brows heal, and then get lighter and patchy. True colour will be seen after 28 days.
- Swelling and redness is normal. Take a piriton (allergy tablet) to alleviate some swelling.
- DO NOT pick, itch, scratch or rub the area or colour will heal unevenly causing scarring and infection.
- DO NOT help scabs along by pulling at them as this can lead to scarring and uneven pigmentation.
- Avoid swimming and sun bathing until brows are completely healed. Direct sunlight and chlorine can interact with pigments causing inflammation and skin irritation.
- After brows are healed wear SPF protection in direct sunlight or on sun beds to protect your brows
- In order to keep your brows in perfect condition, it may be necessary to have a maintenance procedure every 12 to 18 months, though this will vary for each individual
